Monroe Actors Stage Company is a community theater located in the Historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Waterloo, Illinois. Serving Southern Illinois and the greater St. Louis metro area, MASC produces five shows a year with the purpose of bringing enjoyable and affordable live theatre to the area’s residents.

Based on the novel of the same name by Natalie Babbitt, this is the story of a family who drinks from a magical spring and becomes immortal. A young girl who lives in their New England town becomes friends with one of the sons, who soon offers her the secret to everlasting life. She must decide if she wants to join her new friends in immortality, or if she will live out her life.
